So today I finally got a Canon 1100D & Sigma 10-20mm 5.6 wide angle lens! I’ve been saving up for my new babies for months now and  I’m so happy to say I finally own them. It was a pretty big blow to my bank account but I was able to trade in my Sigma fisheye lens to knock a chunk off the price, but it’s totally worth it!
I got an 1100D so I can start taking videos, I know I’ve been saying I would do them for ages but now I have no excuse not to make little videos! I’ve got lots of ideas of things I want to try out, some may be good, some may suck, so please bear with me as this is a totally new experience for me! …

It was sad trading in my fisheye lens, I got it in New York about 2 years ago and it was a total novelty lens. It is great for parties and gigs, but in reality having only a 50mm 1.4 lens & a fisheye lens is an odd couple, and not very practical. The fisheye just distorted things that little bit too much so the wide angle is perfect for what I need now, so here are some quick photos we took the minute we got home!

Today wasn’t a particularly nice day, so I can’t wait to start using this when the sun decides to come out again! Hope you guys like the little change!
