Bikini – Lovely Sally, Sunglasses – Chicwish, Necklace – Backstage*, Earrings - JFR.se, Nail Varnish - Aldo.

Well, the weather has gone back to normal which means no sun, rain and lots of moody looking people walking around. Boo. But hey, I don’t care, I’m going to France in 8 days! I was only meant to go for just four days because I couldn’t get time off work but now, since I am free as a bird my mum was lovely enough to change my flights and I am now going to be in the sunny south of France for one whole week!! Oh boy, I am so excited. Walking to the beach, sun bathing, drinking ice cold minute maid by the sea. Bliss!
I am now on the hunt for a good book to read on my travels, can you guys recommend me anything? What are your favourite travel reads? x

You could jump of the “Fifty Shades of Grey” bandwagon… or 11.22.63 by Stephen King is definitely worth a read!

I rather not jump on the 50 shades of grey bandwagon, heard too many terrible reviews! But I do love anything Stephen King, ill check it out! Thanks Aisling! x

Have you read Marcus Zusak’s The Book Thief? One of the most perfect books I’ve ever read, it’s amazing. And for an easy read by the beach, Room by Emma Donahue (and she’s Irish!) is great :)

    Have fun! x

One book that’s maybe not my favourite but is really entertaining and catching is The Shadow of the Wind by Carlos Ruiz Zafón. It’s a real page turner.

Okay, so a book I can truly recommend to anyone is Before I Go to Sleep by S J Watson.
It’s an amazing story with amazing ‘surprises’ and just really well written and thought out. It isn’t of them books that you can just skim over either.

Anything from John Green. It may not be labeled for adults, but I’m pretty sure it’d match your travel, with a light comedy romance.
Highly recommend ‘An abundance of Katherines’ for a light, cute and addictive romance, and ‘Looking for Alaska’ for something that will really capture your attention and thoughts. One of the best.
You’re lovely, Anouska, I really appreciate your blog and you :)
