These last few days have been quite tough. Since coming back from Amsterdam I’ve been feeling really down. I don’t think Ireland is where I am meant to be. When I was a child I moved countries so many times and went to so many different schools I never felt like I belonged anywhere. Perhaps this absolutely miserable weather we have been getting here in Dublin isn’t helping things, but I feel it’s time to start the next chapter in my life. But the scary part is figuring out what that is or what that even means. Only time can tell.

    Well if it’s any consolation, you look great. But I know the feeling. Sometimes a holiday is just the kind of kick in the ass that makes you realise the grass really IS greener.

    I know what you mean, especialy when you come back from another city that you fell in love, and I love my hometown but I def dont wanna live here, anyway you look great as always just dont like to see you so sad :(

    I felt the same way at the start of the year, that’s why I have decided to up sticks and move to Madrid,do what you have to do :) I love Ireland but need a change! You look fab..

    I feel your pain, I’m in Ireland too and looking at all the blogs of sunny weather and summer clothes makes me feel very jealous. I loved your Amsterdam posts, Amsterdam is a great city. Your still young and you have loads of time to make mistakes that won’t impact your life in a big way, don’t be afraid to follow your dreams. I’m off to New York next month for a short holiday and my only worry is I won’t want to come home :-) and I may even feel the way you do now, I hope not….

      Haha, it’s like Rosemary said, the grass is always greener, but Ireland is just too cold/wet/rainy/windy and its just so annoying and i can’t handle it anymore! thank you miss x

    I understand your feelings so much! Last summer I’ve spent 2 months in Dublin, it was really great, I went to Ireland before that but just for one week, and it was really hard for me to leave and to go back home in France for my studies! And now I’m in Germany since 3 months for an internship, at first to be sincere I didn’t want to go there, I wanted to go to Ireland, but now my great German life ends up this weekend, and knowing that now I have 2 months of holidays but in France makes me so sick.
    I really love being somewehre else as my hometown, and like you I think my heart belongs to an other place or maybe places, but I want to be realistic for the moment, and first finished my studies and then, finally finding My place. :)
    And don’t worry the weather is pretty bad almost everywhere!;)

    So don’t worry, you’re not the only one to feel better in other places! :)
