I wore this for the Launch of the Dr.Martens collection but didn’t get a chance to photograph my outfit properly so we took this one when I got home yesterday morning. It really does suck when Ronan can’t come with me to these blogging events but he was busy so hense the lack of outfit posts during my time in London!

I’m very lucky that one of my bestest friends, Alessia lives just on the outskirts of London so she was kind enough to let me crash at her place :) Even though she was working & I was out of the house most of the day we only got to see each other in the evenings but we have so much fun together it was great to see her :) She has also started up a new blog which I think most of you will find interesting! Alessia trained as a Make Up Specialist with Chanel so her Make Up Tutorials are deffo worth a look! Click here to check it out. Heres a little photo of the two of us :)

Back in Dublin now! My trip to London was short but sweet – and here are the photos from the Dr.Martens HQ where they gave us a factory tour which was so interesting! We learnt about some history of the Brand, and how a shoe is made from start to finish.

I was amazed to see how much of the shoe was handmade – and how much craftsmanship and manual labour goes into each shoe’s production. The machines they used were also built around 30/40 years ago so it was wonderful to see that the whole process hasn’t changed since then. And all the people working that day were very kind to us and I think it is definitely worth a visit if you are ever in the UK or if you are living there! It was a beautiful showcase of British culture and how Dr.Martens played such an important role in the style of a nation.

Here’s a little sneak peak at what’s to come for their A/W collection! I for one ADORE those red studded ones!

Lots of love

So I’m over in London at the moment for the Dr.Martens S/S launch which was held last night! It was a lovely evening where I got to meet some wonderful people (Amy Nelson & Paul from London Fashion By Paul) and thankfully fellow Irish Blogger Rosemary MacCabe from Fash Mob was there too so at least I wasn’t an Odd-Bod :)

We went to the Dr.Martens HQ today and had a tour around and learnt some history of the brand which was really interesting, I’ll post photos tomorrow :)

I was head-to-toe dress in The Kooples, The jeans & top are from our new season & the blazer & hat are from last season!
