The weather was glorious yesterday (&today) and I had the house to myself for a couple of hours so took some photos in my back garden, as you can see my chickens love being in photos, theyre always so curious as to what I’m doing, and they often peck & nibble at my shoes. It’s cute.

So a couple of weeks ago I was asked to be featured in the new issue of River Islands in house magazine, and I have to say the magazine is great! It has some beautiful editorials & great make up tips and I’m very happy to be featured!

All the clothes I’m wearing are from River Island,.I totally loved my outfit, those shorts are to die for! Very colourful (for me) but hey it’s summer. Kinda.

If you guys are in River Island I suggest you pick up a copy, its worth a look!

I’ve also just been featured in Clicks&Contacts today, a little interview I did with them, would love if you had the time to check it out here is the direct link to my interview!

So I’ve made my second youtube video tutorial! Since it’s coming into spring/summer and we’re seeing alot of bright/bold lips around I thought I’d do my own version of a summery look with an orange lip.

So start I prepped my face with moisturizer and applied face & body by Mac (& some concealer for under the eyes too)

I use Mac Prep & Prime translucent powder, its great because its light and doesn’t give you that cakey ”too matte” look, perfect for the illusion of not wearing much make up.

This is that colour palette that I got in boots a while ago, its got some fantastic colours and despite it being quite cheap, the pigment is quite strong!

This is the little blush I use, like I mentioned in the video, I’m not a huge fan of blush, so thats why I like this one because it’s not very strong but will still give you that healthy rosey glow

I only recently started using my eyelash curlers again, dunno why I ever stopped using it! I loooove this mascara <3

And finally two of my favourite colours at the moment Lady Danger by Mac & Morange by Mac. I probally should have put on Lady danger first and then put on morange after but ah well,  you get the gist! :)

Hope you guys like the video, sorry it ends so badly with me making silly faces! but please let me know if you guys want me to do anything else, for requests just email me @ anouskaproettabrandon@hotmail.com

Thanks guys, happy midweek xxx

I’m so happy this photo has finally been published, it has to be one of my favourite photoshoots I’ve done! The dress is from The Goddess Room, and the photo was taken by my amazingly talented photo buddy Lucy Nuzum! Click for her facebook fanpage & Lucys Flickr photostream. We shot in the amazing Kilruddery Gardens, Make up was by  the amazing Danielle Murphy
Hair by the crazy Lolita Lush :) I adored the make up, would love to try this out myself!

The Magazine came out the same day as Ronans birthday so its was a great day :) We’ve just been relaxing all bank holiday weekend, eating alot of chocolate :) It is just a tad bit annoying my name was spelt wrong but thats okay! :)

The dress itself, is just unbelievably beautiful. And the headpiece to match is a perfect cherry on top.

lots of love xxx

The weather here in Dublin has been just amazing these last few days! I have to say, I was way too warm wearing all black (mainly it was the disco pants that had me over-heated!) But I do love wearing all black, brings me back to my youth when I used to be a little goth – ha!

I got my fringe top in Topshop after I did a little thing for Stellar magazine in there, and I just LOVE it.

I’m obsessed with fringe at the moment, I don’t have enough of it! I remind myself alot of my mum when she was my age she would wear stuff like this, I always remember she had this awesome suede jacket with fringe coming off the arms, I must ask her if she still has it!

totally enjoying the sun, it’s Ronans birthday tomorrow so I hope the sun keeps up :)

I’m listening to Black Rebel Motorcyle club alot right now, I think it’s sorta influencing my style right now! have a listen: just click the love heart :) <3

Lots of love xxx

So when I was 8 years old my mothers friend wrote a book called A Place For Unicorns, and asked me to be on the front cover :) I got paid 25 pounds and – spent it all on sweets! The sad thing is if you look for the book now the front cover has actually changed, to some deck chairs I think. But when it was published it was in all windows of the bookshops in Bray, I was mortified!! I look so moody (but I had to, its about a troubled girl I think my little middle parting fringe is quite funny :) I found all the little extra shots inside the book when I was cleaning out my room the other day – so thought I’d share it with you guys!

Oh to be young! xxx
